DESCRIPTION:

Over a long period of research, our company has focused on the imperfections of waterproofing applications in our existing market today. Thus, we have developed Dura-Seal® DS-100 EPDM membrane which will surely satisfy your waterproofing needs.

Dura-Seal® DS-100 EPDM membrane is a lightweight, durable and weatherproof single-ply waterproofing membrane perfect for a wide variety of applications. For more than 20 years, we have proven that it can withstand extreme temperature fluctuations and constant exposure to direct sunlight. Also, it has exceptional elasticity and will not split or crack under normal building movement.

Dura-Seal® DS-100 EPDM waterproofing membrane is an effective and high performance waterproofing system for contemporary structures, a 100% waterproofing mission.

SYSTEMS:

A. Mechanically Fastened System

Dura-Seal® mechanically fastened system combines sound & durable quality with simple and easy installation. It is environment friendly since it does not use much organic solvent. To top it all, there is even no need to remove the approved existing roof deck which makes it cost-effective and suitable for large-size projects.

Loosely lay the EPDM membrane on top of concrete roof deck or DS-120U or DS-120S insulation board. Then, secure it with DS-102 termination bar and DS-103 fastener. All membrane laps should be at least 10 cm and should be wiped clean using DS-101 cleaner. Splice all membrane laps with DS-107 adhesive or DS-106 seam tape. Finish with a continuous bead of DS-109 sealant.

B.   Fully-Adhered System

Dura-Seal® fully-adhered system conforms to the idea of traditional installation. It is recommended for irregular building configurations, slopes, foundation walls, etc.

Adhere the EPDM membrane directly to the smooth and clean substrate like concrete deck, plywood or DS-120U thermoset insulation board, etc. All membrane laps should at least be 10 cm and wiped clean using DS-101 cleaner. Then, apply DS-107 adhesive evenly to both the substrate and the membrane laps. After several minutes, press it securely and finish with a continuous bead of DS-109 sealant.

C.  Ballasted System

Dura-Seal® ballasted system is specially designed for low-storey buildings which have wide, flat roof decks and for supporting heavy loads. It is also economical, easy to install and a quality protection against elements.

Loosely lay the EPDM membrane over the substrate. All membrane laps should at least be 10 cm and wiped clean using DS-101 cleaner. Splice all membrane laps and edges with DS-107 adhesive or DS-106 seam tape and finish with a continuous bead of DS-109 sealant. Then, cover the membrane with washed river bottom stones.

Insulation tiles are recommended to replace the washed river bottom stones to serve as waterproofing and insulation.
